Alabama football vs Mississippi State: Live Stream, TV Schedule, Scores and Highlights, Point Spread, Preview

Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide are back in the spotlight once again for what is considered to be the biggest game in the SEC this 2014. Since Saban handled Alabama football, the Crimson Tide have been consistent to have a crucial game in November with national title implication.

On Saturday, Alabama football meet the undefeated Mississippi State for the battle for the SEC West at the Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, AL at 3:30 PM ET, November 15.

The SEC West has been the battleground of powerful teams in the college football. However, Mississippi and Alabama are the two remaining teams that have a shot at the national title game. This is an important game because it can eliminate the other in the race for the college football playoff berth.

Alabama overwhelmed LSU, 20-13, in overtime last Saturday through Black Sims, who completed 20 of 45 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns. He played well in driving for the winning touchdown in OT.

Amari Cooper caught eight times for 83 yards and a touchdown, while Christion Jones had 38 yards in three receptions. They played with poise against the tight defense of the LSU Tigers.

Offensively, Alabama averages 281.2 in passing and 206.1 in rushing. Defensively, Alabama yields 185.4 in passing and 89.8 in rushing.

Mississippi State continues to be on top of the college football playoff rankings. Though this is the most challenging game of all so far for Mississippi State, the Bulldogs hope to get it done in Alabama.

”Every article you read, everywhere you look, we’re the big underdog in this game,” Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen said. ”We’ve done that before and we know that role. We’ll be OK with that. Our guys will play with great effort and with a chip on our shoulder that we try to play with every week no matter what the rankings or what everyone else is predicting.”

Mississippi State defeated UT Martin, 46- 16, through their defense and the offensive game of Dak Prescott, who completed 14 of 23 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns. He also added 54 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
