Dallas Cowboys vs New Orleans Saints: TV Schedule, Start Time, Odds, Preview, Highlights

Despite of playing on the road, the New Orleans Saints (1-2) are favored on Sunday Night football against the Dallas Cowboys. One of the reasons would be the total domination of Drew Brees in all the road games over the Cowboys, winning 3-0.

Brees had 14 touchdowns and two interceptions against the Cowboys in 4-1 record. Not to forget that Brees threw for at least 352 yards in the last three wins over the Cowboys.

The New Orleans Saints defeated the Minnesota Vikings, 20-9, last Sunday through the quality plays of Brees, who completed 27 of 35 passes for 293 yards and two touchdowns against no interceptions. Brees played with ease as he navigated through the teeth of the defense of the Vikings.

New Orleans execution of the offense was almost flawless as Brees had spread his passes to different receivers. Brandin Cooks had 74 yards in eight receptions while Jimmy Graham added 54 yards in six catches. Marques Colston and Josh Hills were part of the offense also in dismantling the Vikings defense.

In the passing offense of the Saints, it ranked fifth in the league by averaging 281.3 yards per game. The rushing offense is explosive also, sixth in the NFL by averaging 140.3 yards per game.

There’s nothing wrong with the rushing defense of the Saints as it yields 101.3 yards per game, 10th in the NFL. However, the passing defense has to improve because it yields an average of 278.3 yards per game, ranked 27th. Saints’ secondary has to make the difference for this game to be won.

The Dallas Cowboys (2-1) are back again to a great NFL start. Dallas looks for its third straight victory and first at home after a come-from-behind victory last weekend.

Dallas seeks its third win in a row and first at home after rallying from a 21-point deficit last weekend. Tony Romo threw two second-half touchdowns after his lone interception was returned for a score in the first half.

The powerful legs of Demarco Murray garnered 100 yards and one TD in 24 runs to make the offense of the Cowboys balanced and effective. The Cowboys have the offensive attacks that could subdue the defense of the Saints.
