Eagles vs Colts: Monday Night Football TV schedule, Odds, channel and scores

Philadelphia faces Indianapolis in the Monday Night Football (MNF) at 8:30 PM ET at the Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Ind.

Riding from the opener’s victory, the Philadelphia Eagles hope for the continuity of their success as they play on the road against a hungry opponent, Indiana. This game is a one of a kind opportunity for the Eagles to have an outstanding 2-0 start since 2012.

The Eagles lost two offensive linemen, left guard Evan Mathis (knee) and right Tackle Allen Barbe (ankle), in last week’s game, but they are determined to upstage a win with the regrouped new offensive line.

Trailing 17-0 at halftime, the Eagles went on to an offensive juggernaut through Nick Foles’ performance in the second half. Foles was only 12 of 24 for 139 yards in the first half, but he changed gear in the second half as he threw for 183 yards in 15 of 21 passes and two touchdowns. Andrew Gardner and David Molk played relatively great as they replaced the injured offensive linemen.

Coming off from a loss against the Broncos, the Indianapolis Colts want to bounce back and to get going. Andrew Luck accumulated 370 yards in 35 of 54 passes, two touchdowns and two interceptions over the stingy defense of the opponents. Luck had the numbers but the two interceptions caused them the game.

The running game couldn’t generate that much offense through Trent Richardson, who rushed for only 20 yards in six attempts with the longest of seven yards. If the Colts have to beat the Eagles, the running game should be part of the attacks.

At the receiving end, Reggie Wayne had 98 yards in nine receptions, while Dwayne Allen added 64 yards in four receptions. Certainly, the passing offense of the Colts would play the biggest role in this match against the Eagles but the rushing offense has to take some of the loads.

The Colts seek to avoid a 0-2 start since 1998. It could be a daunting task because the Colts are up against a high-octane offensive team. Will the Colts be able to survive at home?

Philadelphia 30 - 27 Indianapolis
