USC vs Boston College football: TV Schedule, Odds, Point Spread, Preview

USC has the complete package to sustain the 2-0 start against Boston College on Saturday on the road at the Alumni Stadium, Chestnut Hill, MA.

Tale of two games. The Trojans powered through Fresno State, accumulating 701 yards while rushing a conference record 105 plays in the opener. However, the other side of the Trojans was in full force by beating the defending champ Stanford on Saturday. Defensively, the Trojans were successful in containing the offensive juggernaut of Stanford. USC’s offense had only 291 yards on 59 plays against the defending Pac-12 champ.

USC’s defense withstood the offense of Cardinal which compiled 413 yards but only a touchdown. The Trojans were able to force four fumbles to derail the Cardinal’s chance of winning.

“I think it says a lot that we can come in against this team, in this environment, and the game not really going our way and not really in our favor, just for whatever reason, and find a way to win,” said coach Steve Sarkisian, whose defense has four interceptions and six turnovers forced through two games.

USC seeks its first five game road winning streak since 2008 and ’09 seasons. Will the Trojans be able to do it?

Meanwhile, Boston College is coming off from a home loss to Pittsburgh and it would be a debacle if the Eagles suffer another defeat.

Quarterback Tyler Murphy had not been successful against the defense of Pittsburgh when he completed 10 of 28 passes for 134 yards, one touchdown against two interceptions. He managed to rush 16 times for 92 yards.

For the Trojans offense, Cody Kessler completed 15 of 22 passes for 135 yards, but he tends to play better after a low-key performance. With the rushing game of Javorious Allen, who rushed for 145 yards against the tight defense of the Cardinal, the Trojans are in a great shape.

The Trojans would be in a great start if they are able to pull a victory on the road against the Eagles.
