While the Carolina Panthers had the success last season, they are still searching for the spark and consistency in both the offense and defense. In the first two games of the Panthers, they allowed 21 points to the opponents. But in the last two games, they yielded 75 points, which is a big disparity. Because of the tight defense in the first three games, they were allowing an average of 201.7 yards to their opponents. Something went wrong in the defense of the Panthers last Sunday in a game against the Ravens, 38-10. The Panthers gave up 327 yards to Joe Flacco as they suffered the defeat.

The Panthers have allowed 75 points the last two weeks after yielding 21 over the first two. They gave up an average of 201.7 passing yards in the first three games before Joe Flacco threw for 327 in last Sunday’s 38-10 loss at Baltimore.

The running game was not working out perfect for the Panthers as they accumulated only 67 yards against Baltimore. DeAngelo Williams needs to assert himself in the rushing offense so that they would have a chance to win.

Offensively, Carolina averages 256.8 yards in passing and 71 yards in rushing. Defensively, Carolina yields 233 yards per game in passing and 140.8 yards per game in rushing.
