Ole Miss vs LSU Tiger Schedule: TV Channel, Kick Off Time, Scores and Highlights

The Ole Miss Rebels face the LSU Tigers in one of the most anticipated college football schedule on Saturday at the “Death Valley” called Tiger Stadium, in Baton Rouge, LA.

NO. 3 Ole Miss (7-0) would love to continue the streak that they are in against the team that showed improvements in the past two weeks. Ole Miss is No. 1 in FBS in yielding 10.6 points per game. Moreover, Ole Miss football has already 15 interceptions, tied in the lead.

”The last two weeks, (LSU has) gotten back to doing their bread and butter - that’s physical (play), controlling the clock,” Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze said. ”They’re able to run the football with the outstanding backs that they have.”

Offensively, Ole Miss averages 282 yards per game in passing and 151.3 in rushing. Defensively, Ole Miss yields 193.4 in passing and 97.1 in rushing. The defense has been the key for the Rebels.

The LSU Tigers (6-2) found themselves 5th in the SEC West, and this is surprising. The Tigers had been dominating the West in the past. Though the Tigers are winless  against the SEC West, they have taken advantage of weaker Eastern Division opponents the past two weeks, coming from behind to beat Florida 30-27 and then beating Kentucky.

”I think there are talented guys in their secondary that anticipate the ball and can make plays,” LSU coach Les Miles said. “I just think the combination of scheme and players make a difference for them.”

Offensively, LSU averages 194.4 yards per game in passing and 220.9 in rushing. Defensively, LSU yields 156.3 in passing and 162.5 in rushing.
