Patriots vs Bills: TV Schedule, Kick Off Time, Scores, and Highlights

The New England Patriots take on the Buffalo Bills in a divisional game on Sunday, October 12 at 1:00 PM ET at the Ralph Wilson Stadium, Orchard Park, N.Y.

While Tom Brady was fully scrutinized in a loss to Kansas City in Week 4, the New England Patriots buried Cincinnati,43-17, last Sunday to remove all the doubts on the quarterback’s capability.

Brady proved to his critics that he remains to posses the winning aura when he threw for 292 yards and two touchdowns. He played with fire in his eyes as he navigate through the defense of the Bengals. With a rejuvenated Brady at the center, the New England Patriots would always have a chance beat the opposing teams.

In today’s Patriots schedule, they have to maintain their mastery over division rivals Bills, who are looking for a back-to-back victory with Kyle Orton as the quarterback.

“When you had the result that we had (against the Chiefs) as a team, I think everybody rallied around each other,” coach Bill Belichick said through CBS. “I mean, who else is there to rally around? That’s all we have: guys that can go out there and play and make a difference.

“I think we’ve played hard a lot this year, but we were able to execute things a little bit better. Of course, there was more emotion and energy as we were making plays.”

Brady has dominated the Bills in his career, with 54 touchdowns in 24 games. He won 8 of the last 9 visits to Buffalo and throwing for 24 touchdowns and average 273.9 yards.

“It’s a great environment up there, it’s always a tough place to play,” Brady said. “They’re playing great, there will be a lot of energy. … They’ll be pretty fired up (with the new ownership).”

The New England Patriots continues to implement “play action” passes which usually disturb the defense. With Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman playing and following the designed routes, Brady would have an offensive day.

Offensively, New England averages 217.8 yards in passing and 122 yards in rushing. Expect the Patriots to increase their passing plays against the Bills.

Defensively, New England yields 196.6 yards in passing, third in the NFL, and 119.6 yards in rushing.

The Buffalo Bills are looking for their momentum to stay as Orton takes them into another level. Buffalo scored 17 consecutive points to overpower the Lions, 17-14, last Sunday.

Orton threw for 308 yards in 30 of 43 passes with a touchdown in his debut in Bills uniform. He showed his experience throughout the game in rallying his troops to steal a win.

“He made some throws,” coach Doug Marrone said. “I think it started off a little bit tough for someone just getting back in there again, but I thought he played well.”

This week, the Bills have reasons to be motivated because of the new owners, Terry Pegula and his wife Kim. This is the moment for the Bills to shine against the Patriots, who won 25 of their last 27 meetings.

Offensively, Buffalo averages 217.6 yards in passing and 107.6 in rushing. Defensively, Buffalo yields 253.8 in passing and 71 in rushing, second in the NFL.
