SF Giants vs Washington Nationals Game 4: TV Channel Schedule, Start Time, MLB Playoffs Scores

The San Francisco Giants will have another chance to close out the Washington Nationals in Game 4 of the MLB National League Divisional Series on Tuesday, at the AT&T Park, San Francisco, California.

Without a doubt, the SF Giants missed that opportunity in Game 3 when they allowed the Nationals to have four runs throughout the game and they scored only one.

Gio Gonzalez will start for the Nationals while Ryan Vogelsong will take the mound for the SF Giants.

The Nationals seek to stay alive in the series, hoping for a decisive Game 5, as Gozalez would try to outlast the batters of the Giants on Tuesday. Moreover, the Nationals already stopped the momentum of the SF Giants yesterday by containing them in nine innings. Surely, Madison Bumgarners throwing error had something to do about the defeat suffered by the Giants in Game 3.

This is the third postseason start of Gonzalez (10-10, 3.57 ERA). He has been hot in the last seven games, with 4-1 record and 2.36 ERA. His consistency in his location is needed in this game to tame the offense of the SF Giants.

Vogelsong (8-13, 4.00 ERA) would love to be part of the success of the Giants. His record doesn’t show how great he is because the Giants were not able to show him the support offensively to win games. In the SF Giants 2012 run in winning the World Series, Vogelsong was 3-0 with 1.09 ERA in four starts in that postseason.

Vogelsong, however, is 1-2 with a 7.94 ERA in five career starts versus Washington after giving up nine runs and 13 hits over 11 1/3 combined innings in two outings this season, in which the SF Giants loses twice.

SF Giants vs Washington Nationals Game 4 start time is at 9:07 PM ET. SF Giants vs Washington Nationals tv channel schedule is on TBS. SF Giants vs Nationals scores and results will be posted here after the game.
