Thursday Night Football: Browns vs Bengals TV Channel Schedule, Kick off Time, Scores and Results

The AFC North has transformed into the most contentious division in the NFL with the rise of the Cleveland Browns, which is the surprising team in first half of the NFL season. The Browns would be tested against rivals in the same division.

Tonight on Thursday Night Football schedule, the Browns (5-3) are expected to have a nerve-jangling game against AFC North rivals the Cincinnati Bengals (5-2-1). The battle for the supremacy in the division includes Pittsburgh and Baltimore, that any game against each other is very important.

The success of the Browns can be attributed to the playing ability of quarterback Bryan Hoyer, who already accumulated 2,014 yards in eight games. Hoyer has learned how to win when the games is on the line.

As a matter of fact, Hoyer has just become the fourth quarterback to reach 2,000 yards in the first eight games. He may not have the great numbers in completion with just around 57.9 percent, but he thrives in close games.

Hoyer completed 21 of 34 passes for 300 yards and two touchdowns against two interceptions in a 22-17 victory over Tampa Bay on Sunday. He spread his passes to several receivers like Taylor Gabriel, Miles Austin and Travis Benjamin.

While the Browns have the offensive arsenal in passing, the rushing offense of the Browns should be effective against the defense of the Bengals. Brandon Tate and Terrance West had only 53 yards combined over the Bucs.

Andy Dalton seeks for another run in the playoff, but with an intense battle this time in the division alone. Dalton completed 19 of 31 passes 233 yards and two touchdowns against two interceptions in a 33-23 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.

With Dalton at the center, the Bengals have been in the playoff in the last three years. In the receiving end, Mohamed Sanu, Aj Green and Jermaine Gresham are part of the receiving corpes.

The passing offense might have what it takes to win tight games but the running game makes the difference. Jeremy Hill rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns to help the Bengals on Sunday.

Cincinnati won the last five games at home against Cleveland. The Bengals overpowered the Brown, 41-20, in 2013. But this is a different Browns with sparks on their eyes.
