Florida vs Florida State football: TV Channel Schedule, Scores, updates and highlights

The Florida Gators take on the Florida State Seminoles in what is considered one of the key matches in the college football schedule at the Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium, Tallahassee, FL.

The Seminoles (11-0) desire to keep on rolling as they protect the undefeated status. The defending national champions may not enjoy the luxury of dominating their opponents like the way they did last year but they have won all their games so far.

Another test for the Seminoles as they are focused in dismantling the visiting opponents, the Gators (6-4). Florida State pulled off yet another nerve-wracking 20-17 victory over the Boston College last week.

”We’re going into battle,” Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher said. ”These games are going to be dogfights. People are going to try and be the one that knocks us out, knocks us off, got nothing to lose.

Florida State has not been getting the full approval of the college football playoff selection committee as the Seminoles are ranked No. 3 behind Alabama and Oregon.

Offensively, Florida State averages 314.9 yards per game in passing and 126.6 in rushing. Defensively, Florida State yields 230.4 in passing and 148.8 in rushing.

The Gators would love to make sure that they will get a bowl invitation by beating Florida State.

”We know we have to go out there and execute, you know, try to ruin their little Cinderella thing, Shrek or whatever it is,” Florida linebacker Michael Taylor said.

Coach Fisher knows that he won only once in the four meetings his team had against Florida. It would be interesting to find out how Jameis Winston would be able to lead his team once again and how Fisher would utilize his players.

Offensively, Florida averages 181.9 in passing and 197.1 in rushing. Defensively, Florida yields 201.1 in passing and 110.4 in rushing.
