Nebraska vs Wisconsin football: TV Schedule, Kick Off Time, Point Spread, Scores and Results

The Nebraska Cornhuskers play the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday’s college football schedule, November 15, at 3:30 PM ET at the Camp Randall Stadium Madison, WI.

With the battle for the Big 10 West on the line, Nebraska and Wisconsin will spend much effort just to get the victory.

While Nebraska (8-1, 4-1) traditionally lost games against ranked teams on the road, the Cornhuskers expect to have a different results this time. Under coach Bo Pelini, the Huskers lost four of their last five games on the road against top 25 teams. They will try to alter their destiny on Saturday against the Badgers (7-2, 4-1).

Nebraska relies heavily of mobile quarterback Tommy Armstrong Junior. In a 35-14 victory over Purdue on November 1, Armstrong completed 8 of 21 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown, while adding 70 yards and another score in 13 rushes.

”It’s hard to win on the road against good football teams and tough environments,” Pelini said in one of the interviews. ”I know that those last five games won’t have anything to do with what happens Saturday. The team that executes the best is going to win.

Offensively, Nebraska averages 209.9 yards in passing and 280.7 in rushing. Defensively, Nebraska yields 216 in passing and 123.8 in rushing.

Wisconsin has the home field advantage to have a chance to get back into the Big Ten Championship Game. The Badgers are favored by 6.5 points, primarily due to playing at home.

Wisconsin also dominated Purdue, 34-16, on November 8 through the magnificent running game of Melvin Gordon, who rushed for a whopping 205 yards and a touchdown in 25 attempts. Gordon compiled those numbers with power and energy.

Quarterback Joel Stave completed 19 of 29 passes for 219 yards and a two touchdowns. Stave will play a major role in this game and he has to find his receivers, especially if Gordon is contained.

”It’s going to be a great environment for us,” Wisconsin coach Gary Andersen said. ”It’s the only game that matters. A lot of that is coach-talk, but it’s really true.”

Offensively, Wisconsin averages 152.7 yards in passing and 325.7 in rushing (fifth in the league). Defensively, Wisconsin yields 156.8 yards in passing (3rd in the league) and 94.3 yard in rushing (fifth in the league)
