With no teams below .500, the AFC North has become the habitation of the fiercest battle in the NFL. The Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns collides anew on Thursday Night Football to increase the winner’s chances of getting into the playoff.
Cleveland (5-3) surprises the entire league, not that Johnny football is playing, but quarterback Brian Hoyer is doing his part in leading the Browns.
Hoyer maintains his composure in close games and the Browns loves winning at the end. Moreover, Hoyer has become the seventh Browns quarterback to reach 2,000 yards in the first eight games.
In the AFC North, the offense of the Browns is the worst with an average of 23.1 points per game. The Browns defense is giving up only 21.1 points per game, 8th in the NFL. Thus, the Browns have all the chances to match the offense of the Bengals.
The Bengals continue to raise up their games with the opponents catching up. Quarterback Andy Dalton is the main man for the Bengals to secure a victory. He has been leading this team in the past three years in the playoff.
Dalton completed 19 of 31 passes for 233 yards, two touchdowns against two interceptions in a 33-23 win over Jacksonville last week.
While the passing game of the Browns is expected to be in great condition, the rushing attacks could help a lot through Jeremy Hill, who had 154 yards and two TDs in 24 attempts.
