The Texas A& M Aggies will be facing the West Virginia Mountaineers in the Autozone Liberty Bowl December29 2:00 P.M. ET at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee.

Texas A & M won its first five games of the season, that includes a huge win over South Carolina, 52-28, in its season opener game. But the Aggies suffered three consecutive defeats midway of the season against Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Alabama. Texas A & M was crushed by Alabama, holding the Aggies to zero points, 59-0. It was the worst lost of the Aggies since 2003. Texas A & M has the huge victory against the number 3 team Auburn University, 41-38, last November 8, before suffering a two game losing streak to end the season.

Offensively, Texas A & M averages 306.4 in passing and 142.8 in rushing. Quarterback Kenny Hill had a total of 2649 passing yards and 23 touchdowns. Defensively, Texas A & M yields 225.5 yards in passing and 223.5 in rushing. Myles Garrett will be the key for the Aggies defense.

West Virginia was come from a win over the Iowa State, 37-24, to end the season. After tough losses against high ranked teams like Alabama, 33-23, in its opening game and Oklahoma, 45-33, the Volunteers notched an upset win against Baylor,41-27, in October 18. West Virginia had a heart breaking one point loss to TCU, 31-30. West Virginia had a 30-21 point commanding lead but unable to score in the final quarter. TCU connected a 37-yard field goal to defeat West Virginia.

Offensively, West Virginia averages 314.6 in passing and 187.5 in rushing. Kevin White, West Virginia’s wide receiver, has been one of the best in Big 12. White had received 1318 total yards with nine touchdowns. Quarterback Clint Trickett had a total of 3285 passing yards with 18 touchdowns. Defensively, West Virginia yields 226.0 yards in passing and 162.6 in rushing.
