The Marshall’s undefeated season ended when they faced the Western Kentucky Hilltopers. It is Brandon Doughty’s (Western Kentucky) fault of having overtime; he redeemed himself with touchdown pass and two-point conversion and the Hilltopers won the game with 67-66.
The Thundering Herd beaten the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and wins Conference USA Title. At the ended of the season they recorded 12 wins with one loss.
The Northern Illinois (NIU) Huskies has beaten the Big Ten member Northwestern Wildcats with 23-15. Da’Ron Brown (NIU) caught six passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns during the game.
The Huskies showed their strong offense. The Huskies ran up more than 600 yards in total offense to beat the UNLV Rebels defeating the Rebels furious rally.
The Arkansan Razorbacks returned the Huskies’ opening kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown. Brandon Allen (Arkansas) threw three touchdowns and won 52-14 against the Huskies.
Another lost is recorded by the Huskies against Central Michigan Chippewas. Even if Tyler Wedel (Central Michigan) missed the field goal at the fourth quarter, they still won the game with 34-17.
A game-winning pass was a wide open pass in the end zone by the Huskies beating the Ohio Bobcats with 21-14.
Rematch of the NIU Huskies and Bowling Green Falcons in Detroit made the Huskies capture the MAC championship for the third time in four years. The NUI Huskies recorded two losses and 11 wins.
