Oregon Ducks football vs Arizona Schedule: A showdown in PAC 12 Conference, Odds, Point Spread, Preview

The Arizona Wildcats visits the Oregon Ducks for a Pac-12 college football showdown on October 2, 2014 at the Autzen Stadium, Eugene Oregon.

As the college football schedule gets deeper, the battle of undefeated teams is rare to happen. No. 2 Oregon has to face Arizona in what is likely to be an interesting matchup.

Leading Heisman Trophy candidate Marcus Mariota threw for 329 yards and five touchdowns against Washington State for the Ducks to win, 38-31. Mariota completed 21 of 25 passes and added 58 rushing yards.

In the passing game of the Ducks, Devon Allen caught times for 142 yards and a touchdown. Mariota had continued to find his receivers despite of the resistance from the opposing team. The quarterback was sacked seven times by Washington State.

The balance offensive game of the Ducks would thrive in any given day but the offensive line must protect Mariota by not allowing him to be sacked.

After a 47-yard Hail Mary that from Anu Solomon to Austin Hill that defeated California, the Arizona Wildcats would be preparing for this big game.

Arizona football scored 36 points in the fourth quarter on September 21 against Cal. Solomon completed 47 of 74 passes for 520 yards and five touchdown to lead his team. He also was the leading rusher with 46 yards in 16 carries.

Cayleb Jones had 186 yards in 13 receptions and three touchdowns while Hill added 127 yards in eight catches. Nate Philips added 80 yards in eight catches against the lax defense of the Golden Bears.

Arizona needs be aggressive over the defense of the Ducks. Furthermore, it would be difficult for the Wildcats to get back into the game if they would be catching up. The Wildcats must be on top of the game to beat the Ducks.
