Georgia vs Kentucky football: TV Schedule, Start Time, Odds, Point Spread, Scores and results

The Georgia Bulldogs play the Kentucky Wildcats on Sunday’s college football schedule at the Commonwealth Stadium, Lexington, KY.

Georgia football suffered a surprising defeat in the hands of the Gators, 38-20, in the annual Cocktail Party game. The Bulldogs were stunned by the impressive showing of the Gators.

Quarterback Hutson Mason completed 26 of 42 passes for 319 yards and a touchdown. He was efficient in executing the offense.

The Bulldogs are expected to toil the ground through running back Nick Chubb who had 156 yards and a touchdown in 21 rushes last week in replacement for star Todd Gurley, who was suspended for four games after admitting he took more than $3,000 for autographs and memorabilia. Gurley is expected to be back on November 15 against Auburn.

Because of the loss, the Bulldogs are out of the conversation for the college football playoff. But they can still capture the SEC East, needing Missouri to lose one of its three remaining games.

Georgia yielded 424 rushing yards to the Gators last Saturday. It was not a good performance at all on the defensive side.

”That’s life,” quarterback Hutson Mason said Tuesday. ”Sometimes in life, you get beat. When you hit some adversity, what are you going to do? Lay down? Or get up like a man and keep chugging along? I promise you we’re not going to quit.”

Offensively, Georgia averages 189.8 yards in passing and 250.3 in rushing. Defensively, Georgia yields 191.9 in passing and 144.3 in rushing.

The Wildcats desire is to get invitation into the bowl games, and they need this game get back into .500.

Kentucky suffered a loss to Missouri, 20-10, last Saturday. The Wildcats were totally dominated with only 158 yards on the air for Patrick Towles and one touchdown in 19 of 37 passes. The running game was also completely defended by Missouri.
