Kansas City Chiefs vs Buffalo Bills: TV Schedule, Kick Off Time, scores and results, Who will have 6-3 record?

The Kansas City Chiefs take on the Buffalo Bills in one of most anticipated games in the NFL on Sunday at the Ralph Wilson stadium, Orchard Park, N.Y.

Kansas City and Buffalo are back in their goal of getting to the playoff. Both teams have an identical 5-3 record in the AFC, and this game can be a launching pad for a possible momentum to the playoff.

Coach Doug Marrone’s quarterback change in week five paid dividends in taking out EJ Manuel for Kyle Orton, who used to be a starter. Orton is regarded to boost the offense of Buffalo as he guided his team with a three wins in for starts.

Before the bye week, the Bills outlasted the Jets 43-23 on October 26, paving Orton to be recognized as part of the success.

“I don’t know yet because it’s still such a young season, but I think it’s very promising the way he’s prepared himself, the way he’s handled himself,” offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett told the Bills’ official website.

Rookie wide receiver Sammy Watson ended up with 157 yards and a touchdown against the Jets. He just produced 197 yards and two touchdowns with Manuel at the center. Watson flourished when Orton was the quarterback.

The status of Watson is uncertain as he hurt his groin during practice Wednesday. It would be important for the Bills to have Watson as one of the weapons. The Bills can think about a real battle going into the playoffs if they could make a victory over their opponents.

Offensively, Buffalo averages 228 yards in passing and 98.9 in rushing. Defensively, Buffalo yields 233.8 yards in passing and 92.2 in rushing.

While the Bills are on the right track, the Chiefs also are looking for a game that would eventually pushes them into the playoff, and this could be the game.

After a slow start, the Kansas City won five of their last six game, putting them just a game behind the Broncos. Quarterback Alex Smith has to overpower the defense of Buffalo for Kansas City to win on the road.

Smith completed 21 of 31 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns against no interceptions to help his team beat the Jets 24-10 last Sunday.

With Travis Kelce, Dwayne Bowe and Anthony Fasano as the primary targets of Smith, the KC Chiefs have a chance to win.

Offensively, Kansas City averages 201.1 yards in passing and 136.9 in rushing. Defensively, Kansas City yields 199.4 in rushing and 116.1 in passing.
