The Indianapolis Colts outplayed Denver, 24-13, in the divisional game Sunday to advance into the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots.
Andrew Luck completed 27 of 43 passes for 265 yards and two touchdowns against two interceptions. Luck played superbly to move the chains except for the two interceptions. TY Hilton caught four times for 72 yards and Coby Fleener added 49 yards to help Luck in the offense.
Colts defense was reliable in containing the Broncos defense limiting Manning to only 152 yards and a touchdown.
Andrew Luck has completed 16 of 24 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown against one interception to lead the Colts 14-10 against the Broncos at halftime.
The game that was expected to be a shootout, but both the defense of Denver and Indianapolis have been playing at the highest level.
Ty Hilton has 43 yards in two receptions while Dan Herron added 25 yards in six receptions. Herron also has 43 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The offensive line of the Colts has been playing exceptional by not allowing the defense of the Broncos to touch Luck.
For Denver, Peyton Manning has completed 7 of 18 passes for 71 yards and a touchdown. Manning has led the Broncos in the first drive to a touchdown.
Emmanuel Sanders has three receptions for 34 yards while Julius Thomas has added 32 yards in one catch. On the ground, CJ Anderson has 12 attempts for 66 yards.
The offense of the Broncos is struggling against the tight cover of the Colts. The Broncos will try to dislodge the defense of the Colts in the second half.
The winner of this game will meet the New England Patriots on Sunday at Gillette Stadium. Both the Broncos and Colts suffered terrible defeats against the Patriots in the regular season.
