Daniel Padilla drafted in the PBA D-League

Actor Daniel Padilla was drafted as the last overall pick in the 15th round by the AMA Computer University Titans, an expansion team, in the PBA Developmental League.

To the surprise of many, what would be the eligibility of Padilla, aside from being a basketball enthusiast, endorser of the school, to be drafted by AMA? According to reports, Padilla is a student at the school and this makes him eligible to be part of the draft.

Aside from Padilla, one of the biggest names in the draft is Moala Tattua who is a Filipino-Tongan center that plays for the Westport Malaysia Dragons in the ASEAN Basketball League. Tattuaa was selected by Cagayan Valley.

However, a report  said that Padilla, through talent management arm Star Magic public relations head Thess Gubi — said he won’t be playing for the D-League.
