Assistant coach Eric Gonzales took charged the coaching position left by Nash Racela who is now with team Gilas Pilipinas in Spain.

FEU was focused to win all remaining games of their campaign to secure the twice to beat advantage in the final four. “We want the top seed or the second seed, we want a twice-to-beat advantage,” stated by Gonzales. “I keep on reminding the players to treat every game as a stepping stone.”

FEU improved their record with 9-2 and remained at the top spot of the standing.
