USA faces Mexico in the Round of 16 in FIBA World Cup Men’s Basketball on Saturday at 16:00 (GMT+2) City, Arena: Barcelona in Spain.

As the top seed in the world, USA is undefeated in the Group elimination round. USA baskeball defeated Finland (114-55), Turkey(98-77), New Zealand (98-71), Dominican Republic (106-71) and Ukraine 95-71.

Mexico advanced into the Round of 16 by winning three games against Korea (87-71) and Angola (79-55). Mexico lost to Australia (62-70), Slovenia (68-89) and Lithuania (74-87).

Francisco Cruz leads the scoring for the Mexicans as he averages 13.4 points a game. Gustavo Ayon will be part of the winning ingredients of the Mexicans especially his impact in rebounding.
