Falcons vs NY Giants: TV Schedule, Start time, Odds, Scores

The Atlanta Falcons take on the New York Giants in one of the most anticipated NFL games on Sunday at the MetLife Stadium, E. Rutherford, N.J.

With the high-powered offense, the Falcons (2-2) are not satisfied by what their record says. As a matter of fact, they are the best in terms of scoring in the NFC, 32.8 points per game.

Despite of the great offense of the Falcons, the offensive line would have a problem because of losing center Joe Hawley (right knee) and right tackle Lamar Holmes (foot) to season-ending injuries in a defeated to Minnesota, 41-28.

While Matt Ryan continues to play his best, leading the NFC with 1,263 in passing, the offense would not survive without a tough offensive line. Ryan completed 25 of 41 passes for 298 yards, three touchdowns against two interceptions. He has the weapons in the offense and he would have a shootout with the opponent’s quarterback.

Offensively, Atlanta averages 322.2 yards in passing and 121.8 yards in rushing. Defensively, Atlanta yields 276.2 yards in passing and 153.5 yards in rushing per game.

On the Other hand, the New York Giants won their last two games through the leadership of Eli Manning, who has thrown already for nine touchdowns. Manning has been playing at his best with passer rating of 93.6 through the playbook of Ben McAdoo, the new offensive coordinator.

In a win against the Washington Redskins, 45-14, Manning completed 28 of 39 passes for 300 yards and four touchdowns against one interception. He navigated through the defense of the Redskins. Moreover, the offense of the Giants would need a boost from Victor Cruz, who had 108 yards last Sunday.

Offensively, New York averages 231.2 yards in passing and 120.2 yards in rushing. Defensively, New York yields 254.5 yards in passing and 101.2 yards in rushing per game.
