The San Francisco Giants are back into winning just a game in clinching the National League Divisional Playoff against the Washington Nationals. With a 2-0 lead in the series and playing at home, the SF Giants would love to finish it at the AT&T Park.

San Francisco features 18-game winner Madison Bumgarner as the starting pitcher. He previously pitched in the wildcard game against Pittsburgh in a shutout by allowing just four hits.

On the other hand, Nationals’ manager Matt Williams will start Doug Fister for Game 3. It’s excruciating for the Nationals to have lost the first two games in one run each. They have the chances of putting at the players bat to win those games but they failed both that their backs are against the wall. Hopefully, the Nationals will end up winning.

Both teams are coming off from that 18-inning Game Two that would certainly affect the players stamina and even focus.

”They’re fine. They’re all here,” Williams said. ”We have an optional workout today, but the buses are full and they are itching to get back out there and work today. Last night’s flight was a long one, but there was a lot of conversation going. Guys were talking about the previous two games and what we must do to get back in this thing and win tomorrow. …

”They don’t panic, for sure. That’s a good thing.”

This is the time for the Washington Nationals to get back into the series, while the SF Giants would love to end the road for the Nationals here.
