Alabama football vs Texas A&M schedule: Odds, Point Spread, Preview and Prediction

While Alabama and Texas A&M have lost their grips on the SEC West, this game is equally important as being on top of the conference.

The Alabama Crimson Tide take on Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday at 3:30 PM ET at the Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, AL. This is an opportunity for the Aggies to bounce back after losing two consecutive games, but against a hungry team.

Texas A&M was totally dominated by the Mississippi State, 48-31, on October 4, and by the Ole Miss, 35-20, last Saturday. The high-powered offense of the Aggies couldn’t match the offense of the opposing teams.

It is important to note that the first three games of the Aggies were promising, even forgetting about the adequacy of winning games without Johnny Manziel. However, with the rise of Mississippi State and Ole Miss, Texas A&M could not think about losing yet another game.

With quarterback Kenny Hill doing his best, throwing 42 of 53 passes for 401 yards and two touchdowns but two interceptions against Ole Miss, the Aggies are still a dangerous ballclub.

The passing game of Texas A&M will always be the primary weapon with Speedy Noil, Ricky Seals-Jones, and Josh Reynolds combining for 263 yards. Surely, the offensive juggernaut of the Aggies cannot be removed immediately in the equation against the Crimson Tide.

Offensively, Texas A&M averages 396 yards in passing, 3rd in the nation, and 168.9 in rushing. Defensively, Texas A&M yields 222.1 yards in passing and 174.9 in rushing.

On the other hand, the eyes of the Crimson Tide are not out of the college football playoff yet. With a tumultuous Alabama football schedule, including this one, the Crimson Tide look to clean up their remaining schedule, though the SEC West title is not within their control.

Alabama (5-1) pulled off a nerve-wracking come-from-behind victory over Arkansas, 14-13, last Saturday. There’s not much in the offense at all with Blake Sims throwing for only 161 yards and two touchdowns in 11 of 21 passes.

Offensively, Alabama averages 288.7 yards in passing and 211.3 in rushing. Defensively, Alabama yields 208.3 yards in passing and 68.2 in rushing.

If the Crimson Tide have to win this match, they have to play defense like the way they contained Arkansas last week.

Alabama football vs Texas A&M tv schedule is on CBS. Alabama vs Texas A&M odds and point spread: -12 Alabama.

Who will win this SEC West match? Prediction: Alabama wins.
